It is reported that Orlando got its name from a soldier named Orlando Reeves believed to have died somewhere in the region during that infamous war against the Seminole Indian tribe in 1836. orlando is not exactly the best spot to find solitude, peace and relaxation. It is suitable for family outings and most of the fun stuffs here are conducted outdoors.
